With COVID-19, restaurants are hurting. Some are offering take out menus and still producing dishes for families and communities. Lisa Nichols, a food photographer, chose to document the lives of some of these restaurants in the state of Connecticut.
Lisa Nichols is a Manchester-based photographer who travels throughout the state on assignment for various publications. As well as shooting for publications, she also runs both food photography BreadBeastPhotographer.com and wedding photography RootsPhotographyCT.com businesses.
During the current Covid pandemic, she’s been working on two projects; Take-Out Only which focus’ on how the pandemic is effecting the food service industry, and Thank You Notes, documenting the displays of gratitude to first-responders and the people who made them.
